An amazing home town of Waratah Hotel.
The Bischoff Hotel is an icon in the district with its strong history going way back when the Bischoff mines were in operation.
Many a great childhood times staying here with my Housego family who lived in the area.
A must place to visit and the scenery is great too.

Lovely little pub to escape the cold of the campsite! The food menu had a great selection for vegetarians which is difficult to find in rural areas and the food we ordered was all delicious. The owner was lovely and friendly and even went to the effort to indulge me in craving for an Irish hot whiskey!

Loved it, we were lucky to come on a Friday for pizza night, my 6yo son gave his Hawaiian pizza 50 thumbs up which I can happily pass on to the other two we had as well. Publican was a great bloke who took time out to give some local knowledge. The pub has heaps of awesome history that is worth exploring and the view across the road to the falls is worth a million dollar bucks

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff, we passed by as we ran out of fuel and the lovely owner saved the day by calling the petrol station owner, we were in a rush so we filled our van and will definitely be back here to visit this lovely hotel for a few nights and some food! The waterfall across the road is STUNNING. This would be a perfect place to stay before or after visiting cradle mountain. Thank you so much for your help! Will be back soon!
