WOW .... what a hidden gem 💎 ... apart from the the view of the waterfall from the bar. The steak sandwich is to die for and there is alot of gluten free options 👍 The staff are super friendly. When you walk in you feel at home straight away. Thanks for a enjoyable lunch 😋

Brilliant old pub one of the few around that has the old pub feel and hasn't been destroyed by modern renovation like most have and the publican was good value for a chat while enjoying a beer we were made feel very welcome

An amazing home town of Waratah Hotel.
The Bischoff Hotel is an icon in the district with its strong history going way back when the Bischoff mines were in operation.
Many a great childhood times staying here with my Housego family who lived in the area.
A must place to visit and the scenery is great too.

Lovely little pub to escape the cold of the campsite! The food menu had a great selection for vegetarians which is difficult to find in rural areas and the food we ordered was all delicious. The owner was lovely and friendly and even went to the effort to indulge me in craving for an Irish hot whiskey!

Had a wonderful time. Lovely clean room with a amazing view of the waterfall. The food was very tasty and the local Manuka stout was top notch. Simon greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Wonderful step back in time and well worth it. Thank you so much.
Will be back for sure.

What an awesome place. We lucked out and got the front corner room overlooking the falls...just spectacular. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Staff were so nice and always happy to help. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the meals were delicious and very reasonably priced.

Loved it, we were lucky to come on a Friday for pizza night, my 6yo son gave his Hawaiian pizza 50 thumbs up which I can happily pass on to the other two we had as well. Publican was a great bloke who took time out to give some local knowledge. The pub has heaps of awesome history that is worth exploring and the view across the road to the falls is worth a million dollar bucks

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff, we passed by as we ran out of fuel and the lovely owner saved the day by calling the petrol station owner, we were in a rush so we filled our van and will definitely be back here to visit this lovely hotel for a few nights and some food! The waterfall across the road is STUNNING. This would be a perfect place to stay before or after visiting cradle mountain. Thank you so much for your help! Will be back soon!
