Founded in 2008 by our Director, Alexander Steffan, we began with development applications in the Logan City Council region, and over the years we have since expanded to become a team of 3 highly qualified town planning consultants and 2 admin assistants offering a range of services from property development, character houses, small lots, subdividing or reconfiguring a lot and through to townhouses, apartments, dual occupancy, rooming accommodation and commercial and industrial development.

Each job brought a new referral and each new referral a new enquiry, paving the way for Steffan Town Planning to become Brisbane's most trusted name in town planning and development consulting.

Our cohesive multi-disciplinary team bring a depth of local knowledge and expertise from concept right through to development approval Brisbane. We have a proven track record of delivering outcomes on time and under budget for projects of all scales and types all across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

Small Lots Report

If your property is a 'small lot' then there may be a lot of requirements that you will need to adhere to in order to comply with the planning scheme. In most instances, you can avoid an approval if you are well informed of the rules and regulations prior to beginning your development. That's where we come in.

Character houses Report

The majority of town planning development applications in Brisbane City Council revolve around the extension, alteration or demolition of a building built in 1946 or earlier in a Traditional Building Character overlay (i.e. a character house). We can assist in assessing what the values these buildings have to Council and what you can/cannot do to them.

The reviews of this professional are indeed true! We were not sure we could subdivide (turns out we cant!) but wanted a professional opinion. Steffan, at no charge, got back to us within 24 hours, providing information about how and why we could not subdivide (not just say no) and also provided alternative property investment uses of our land. If we do have any plans down the track, we will be back!
