East Adelaide Dental Studio has served the Glenside, Fullarton, Burnside, Adelaide Surrounds communities for more than four decades. Dentist Dr Arthur Shizas took over in 1996, creating a gorgeous, tranquil environment where all ages can improve their oral health. We have a beautiful facility just off the main road, providing a serene setting that will help you relax and feel comfortable while getting the dental care you need.
Blanca was inspired to become a dental hygienist because of the impact that oral health can have on general health. She also enjoys the personal interaction with patients and likes to provide them with quality dental care to help optimise their oral health. She earned a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from TAFE Adelaide in 1998 and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Oral Health at Adelaide University in 2005.
At East Adelaide Dental Studio, our goal is to provide the comprehensive dental care you need at a convenient location. Our tranquil, gorgeous environment is just the place to regain your oral health. You can look out on our beautiful gardens during your procedure or watch the television in the ceiling playing a programme of your choice.
The government has now eased dental service restrictions. This means we will now be able to treat our patients again and perform dental checkups and cleans, as well as all our other services. East Adelaide Dental Studio is in Glenside behind Terry White Chemists and Karl Chehade Dry Cleaning at the corner of Alinga Ave and Greenhill Road near the Burnside Village Shopping Centre.
Since Arthur was just 12 years old, he had a desire to become a dentist. He studied at Adelaide University, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. During school, he became fascinated by the surgical field and offers many such procedures in-house at East Adelaide Dental Studio, along with an array of other dental services.

Booked in for an emergency root canal whilst travelling from Victoria. Arthur saw me that afternoon and was friendly, sorting out my very painful infection quickly. The team followed up with me later and I felt well looked after. If I lived in Adelaide I would certainly choose East Adelaide Dental Studio for all my dental needs.

What a wonderful experience from the start! This practice is a very welcoming environment, with very knowledgeable staff. I was informed of the whole (major dental) procedure and costings before any work began and the bedside manner of the staff is to be commended. Next level in dentistry. I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout, from the front desk to the chair. Pierre was a magician when improving the physical appearance of my smile, all achieved with such gentle care and much humour. He is kind, professional and hilarious. Well known reputable senior dentist Arthur Shiraz practices here and over sees more junior dentist practitioners. I am ābulk billedā using my health fund as this practice is one of the āpreferred providersā of my health fund. My previous dentist is not a preferred provider so my rebate was very small. My first consult here was very thorough. Pierre explained clearly what was happening and this put me at ease.
