My first time with this place is excellent, but for a few appointments later, I feel so disappointed with their services. The person who speak me on the phone seem like not really respect customers, and some of the therapists are not experienced.

Will definitely be back! Took my dad and brothers here for a special occasion, the massages was one of the best they've ever had they said! I really enjoyed my relaxation massage, and can't wait to book again when I next head into the city!

Terribly Disappointed! Today I had the worst massage of my life at vigorous Thai. It was awful from beginning to end. The masseuse had a terrible attitude and no energy. She was just going through the motions expending the least amount of effort she could. This shop used to be one of my favourites but after today I wont be back.
Maybe there is a change of ownership! They need to hire people who can massage.
There are lots of places to choose from in the city, so please take my advice and skip this place.
I recommend people to shop around

Tried this branch for the first time due to its location. Thoroughly enjoyed the 90 minute deep tissue massage - it was extremely professional, focused and with clear communication. I believe Sasha was my masseuse and she was sure to focus on the areas that required extra pressure. As with any massage experience, be sure to let them know your preferred strength - Thai massages can be quite painful if you don’t communicate your tolerance. Thanks for a good experience!

Really worked me good. Painful but enjoyable. Always let your massage therapist know to go harder or softer. You don't want to be in pain or lack any feeling in the pressure.
Both visits have been A grade. Feeling confident third time will be as good as the last.

Been here a few times with good experiences. However this time was different, I came in for a deep tissue massage and was put on the floor as opposed to table and had the worst experience of my life . The masseuse provided a weak massage, and when I requested for more pressure she went on to provide MAX pressure by stomping on my back and shoulders as opposed to using her hands and applying slightly more pressure. She was extremely rude and told me to request for a male next time, and left the room for 10mins during my session. This was way out of the usual pleasant massage. NEVER AGAIN.

I have been here twice now, one for a express foot massage and one for a 1 hour deep tissue massage - both were good. My masseuse really worked the knots out in my upper back with a good firm pressure. Feeling a little tender today but with less tension - thank you so much! Easy to get an appointment last minute also, I will be back.

It's always hard to find a good, clean, not-dodgy place to get a massage in a different city. Thanks to the concierge at QT Hotel, I found this place. I definitely needed a massage after a long flight from the US, and then a long drive down to Great Ocean Road and back. I was able to get an appointment straight away and had a great, effective massage. I really wanted to come back the following day but ran out of time. I'll definitely come back to this spot when I'm back in the city and absolutely recommend it to friends in Melb!

It seems like Thai massage joints are a dime-a-dozen in Melbourne. Have you taken a walk down the back end of Lygon Street lately? There are literally dozens of them! However only some a really, truly good.

Vigorous Traditional Thai is one. I woke up with a bung shoulder on Sunday morning and thought to myself YOLO I'm getting a massage. Vigorous Traditional Thai are great in that they take same-day bookings.

You are offered a bottle of water or soft drink when you first walk in, which is a nice touch.

Vigorous Thai is my new go to place for massage! I've visited the one on Bourke street last year and when looking up reviews found they had this shop in Fitzroy. They accept walkins however I'm glad I called ahead to book, specially if there are 2 of you wanting a massage.

The gentleman on front desk was nice and helpful and offers free water. The lady I had seemed to know what she was doing and had a very nice firm pressure.
