After working in the corporate sector as an accountant for several years, in 2001, Sophie took a leap of faith to follow her passion for health and wellbeing. She already had a strong interest in the healing effects of massage - her twin boys were elite gymnasts at the VIS at the time and she spent many hours massaging them to aid recovery.
Sophie also massaged in a personal training studio, which led her to providing massage support to triathletes at the World Triathlete Championships in Hawaii in 2005. Coming from a corporate background, Sophie founded Massage2Motivate in 2006 with the initial intention of bringing massage into the workplace.
