Harbour cruise bookings are typically 4 hours in duration, additional cruising time is charged by the hour. We are open to negotiate extending your cruise time if you approach us about it at least 30 minutes prior to the end of your Harbour cruise - for exclusive charters only. For Special event Harbour cruises or shared harbour cruises we absorb the cost of the NSW Maritime wharf booking fee.

WASTE OF MONEY! Incredibly disappointing experience with Sydney Event Cruises. From the very start they were late in picking us up, to the boat itself which was oversold as having 3 luxurious outdoor decks as I can assure you there was nothing luxurious about this boat. There was a few plastic seats, frozen finger food heated up, and decor that… looked like it was set up from a bucks night the night before.

If you are considering a cruise with this company, you should seriously reconsider. We had a terrible experience this past NYE. The boat was 1/2 hour late, it wasn't prepared for a new group of guests (seemed like it was still decorated from a previous bucks/poker party) and more seriously we hit a stone wall half way through the night, causing us… to be lodged for over half an hour. Even more worryingly was that we were about to hit the same wall again later in the cruise- thankfully, this was avoided after several staff on board were seen running to the captains quarters to quickly alert

DO NOT BOOK HERE! This was the most horrible boating experience possible. We spent almost $400 each for the NYE event and we felt robbed. 1. The boat was late for pickup 2. The boat was rubbish and was still… decorated from the Bucks party prior 3. Good luck getting an outside spot - their “3 decks” were a joke 4. Cheap food and alcohol 5. The driver ran into the brick wall of the harbor TWICE! We were concerned he was intoxicated. We paid for the “best vantage viewpoint” to see the fireworks at midnight only for the driver to position the boat directly behind an island. I couldn’t even see the bridge. They were 30 mins late and we were also stuck at Balmain wall for another 30 mins. I requested a refund but instead they sent me a three page letter of excuses explaining the series of unfortunate events. They rejected the refund and I now have to escalate it further.

What a disappointment! Paid nearly $400 a ticket to watch the NYE fireworks behind a hill! Not to mention the boat running into a brick wall and nearly crashing into 2 other boats. Very poor communication and even after a written complaint they advise that they can’t guarantee a bridge view and some poor excuse about a plastic bag getting stuck in the motor. Something you would see on a specsavers commercial! We will be taking further action!!!

Last week we did an evening cruise with the band beatnix playing
It was a great night , made even better by the attitude of all the staff . They went out of their way to ensure that everybody had a good time. After all of the difficulties that these businesses have experienced due to covid, it was great to see them putting in such an effort to ensure the business remained operating and that many more people will be able to experience such a great night

My family have enjoyed a couple of harbour cruises with Sydney Event Cruises. I went searching to see what their upcoming cruises were when I saw what I believe is an undeserved star rating.
Our 2 prior cruises were comfortable and enjoyable. The first one had great live entertainment with a fantastic Elvis Artist (Paul Fenech) on board and wowing all on board.
The food is good and fresh, with enough choice to keep my ravenous kids happy. I found the crew happy and helpful.
I'm hoping to take my family for a cruise again soon.

Steer clear of these operators. A$6000 cruise got us use of only half the boat (they closed off the upstairs saloon without telling us), disgusting food when oysters, calamari, arancini and the like were offered and a very combative conversation with the operator, David. They wanted an extra $585 to turn on their music system. Buyer beware!!

Very dissapointed. We booked for the Boxing Day Sydney to Hobart cruise. While I acknowledge that it's a busy day Sydney Event Cruises managed to make it memorable for all the wrong reasons. Firstly the 1045 boarding became 1130 with no signage to confirm we were in the right place or to speak with anyone. When we eventually seen the "Supacat" boat arrive we realised that the line of people was going to make it very busy. We boarded and realised that while the number of passrngers hopefully met the safety requirements it clearly did not consider the value for money, comfort or enjoyment of the

Wendy and Tony were fantastic to deal with in organising our university cruise. They were able to offer very competitive prices and tailor the package entirely to our needs. The night itself was a huge success due to the high quality facilities and services, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
