3 out of every 4 Australians suffer from gum disease at some point in their life. If left untreated gum disease or periodontitis can cause severe bone loss and eventually tooth loss. Regular hygiene examinations and gum therapy ensure the early stages of gum disease are detected and can then be easily treated and monitored, without detrimental consequences.
Dental implants provide a means to replace either one tooth or several missing teeth, so that your mouth can be restored to look, feel and function just like normal. Implants medically fuse to your jawbone to create a secure, safe and long term foundation for a new tooth. I’m a Medical Practitioner myself and I know a superb colleague when I meet one.
Peter Fraser is one such. He’s been our family dentist fo a number of years now and all his work has been exceptional. Implants Crowns Root Canals and just dental hygiene visits. He does it all himself. Affable personable laconic Kiwi who is technically adept and gentle.
Couldn’t recommend a dentist more highly.

Dr Peter Fraser was recommended to me following a terrible and incompetent cosmetic dentistry job by a well known practice in Caulfield. I didn’t realise just how poor the previous cosmetic dentistry work was until Peter replaced my composite veneers. My teeth look natural, and the process was painless. I couldn’t be happier. Staff are lovely and caring.
