Services
Fillings are placed to restore decayed teeth using tooth-coloured composite resin materials which are suitable for back and front teeth. At Bentleigh family dental, teeth whitening involves having custom-made trays made to hold the bleach in position against the teeth. The process usually takes 2 weeks and involves wearing the trays for a few hours every night for best results.
It is advisable to bring them in at an early age to get familiar with the dental environment. We recommened children start attending at around 2 years of age unless you have any concerns prior to this. Here at Bentleigh Family Dental, our dentists will advise you of the best time to consult an orthodontist.
Floss your teeth daily. Flossing will maintain healthy gums and helps to clean between teeth where brushing cannot clean. Wear a custom fitted mouthguard to protect your teeth from injury when playing contact sports. Avoid using your teeth for anything other than chewing food. If you use them to crack nuts, remove bottle tops or rip open packaging, you risk chipping or even breaking your teeth.
Bentleigh Family Dental is conveniently located on Jasper Rd next to the Bentleigh library. Payment is required on the day of treatment. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard. All health funds are accepted and we are members choice providers for Medibank, BUPA and HCF. HICAPS is available to allow for easy on the spot claiming.

I have been visiting Bentleigh Family Dental for a couple of years now. The service is always very professional. I actually take My whole family for their check ups. Dr Nadavin is very gentle and takes her time to make sure there is no pain. Have had some excellent experience taking my young children for treatment.

I saw both dentists for the first tine this week following excellent recommendations from family and friends. I saw Nadavin on Monday for an emergency appointment and on Tuesday Dennes did a root canal filling, a major procedure. Both dentists are extremely competent and highly professional and at the same time they are empathic and considerate. I am so pleased That I decided to attend their practice and I will certainly be using them for all my dental work from now on.
