Services
PsychCare specialises in the assessments and management of Developmental and Mental Health Disorders for children and young people aged 12 to 25. Dr Syed Shah has over 20 years of experience working as a trusted Child and Youth Psychiatrist in Australia and the UK. He has a special interest in Anxiety and Mood Disorders (including Bipolar Disorder), Eating Disorders, and the diagnosis and management of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
We offer comprehensive assessment and treatment plans for a range of developmental and mental health disorders. Your GP remains your main doctor responsible for your ongoing care and scripts. We no longer provide routine or ongoing care. We offer diagnostic assessment and treatment plans for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
You will need a referral from your GP to arrange a Telehealth appointment with our Psychiatrists. Please note that we only see young people aged 12 to 25. PsychCare Services currently Bulk Bills all Telehealth consults that are booked with a valid Medicare number and a GP or Specialist referral. All our appointments are now booked online.

Dr. Tameika Greenway is a very good doctor and respectful psychologist. She’s willing to give you the necessary truths about yourself, she knows what is the right course of action for your future and her respect for individuality is truly fantastic and reassuring for the patients.
Sure the place is pricey ($180 before Medicare) but its welcoming atmosphere and calm vibe can let you relax in ways some of you may not be able to afford at home (whatever your circumstances may be).

I've been to a lot of psychologists over the years and I can say for sure that Tameika is really the only one that I've actually enjoyed seeing and who I felt was helping improve my mental health. She's very honest with you, but also super friendly and welcoming, and the advice she's given me has always helped. She's also not opposed to chatting about Pokemon or wanting a pet goat in between the serious stuff. Really good for someone like me who hates the super stuffy, always has to act cold and professional psychologists. I will never not recommend her to anyone looking for a psychologist in Ipswich

What a waste of precious time coming here. Very unprofessional, changing appointment times, $400 for a script basically. Took me 5 calls for them to claim my medicare rebate and even then they put it through wrong so was an extra $70 out of pocket. Seek professional care in Brisbane not here they are a rock show.
