Pain can be scary and disrupt your life. Helen Potter will listen to your story and help you to discover why you are suffering. Longer appointments allow you to discuss your goals and treatment options in a private friendly environment. At In Touch Physiotherapy Helen offers Specialist Physiotherapy care.
Her extensive clinical expertise is recognised by the Australian College of Physiotherapists' 2007 Title "Specialist Physiotherapist." You can expect some improvement within two treatment sessions but chronic and multi-factorial problems will take longer. I screen for serious conditions and advise you on scans, investigations or review by your doctor.

You are not alone in suffering headaches. More than three million Australians suffer from migraines or headaches, with about fifteen percent taking painkillers at some stage. The term "headache" refers to pain felt in the head, brain, neck, jaw, eyes, ears or sinuses. Our brains register and interpret the sensory impulses that reach it.
Pain is an unpleasant feeling felt somewhere in the body that urges us to protect that location. Pain is the only protective mechanism we are aware of and compels us to do something to protect the painful bit. Staying in your comfortable belief zones, will keep you on the rocky path to chronic pain and disability.

Helen is a very professional physiotherapist. Understands exactly what i feel even though i sometimes can't describe the feelings properly. Her simple yet effective exercises and suggestions made my back much less tense and painful. Also, her easy going nature makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.
