This Morning Sunday 3rd October, it was not her morning for the tall Blonde at the counter, I ordered a coffee and I said that I wanted to order something else, as soon as she want pay for the coffee, so every time I order a pastry she quickly to turn away and before I could finish my sentence, anyway in the end I walked away with four separate items, in the past the other staff offered to place the pastries in a small cartoon box, but not today, she was in no mood for it and the pastries were all smeared inside the paper bags.

I've been there a few times on the odd occasion, always hoping that my bad experience was a one-off. The pies are hit and miss but still expensive every time. Dont bother with the sweet things. They may looks good but it stops there. They are flavourless and fake. Even chocolatly things use fake chocolate. Don't bother with the cinnamon scrolls either, they are a waste of ingredients. They have a weird glaze and make IKEA's ones taste great in comparison.

The product is generally very good and has made my family return regularly.
Had another pie disaster (it fell apart as I tried to eat it) on this occasion I went back and voiced my concern.
The staff member seemed disinterested and the manager was arrogant and became abusive, certainly not dealing with the issue of a burn on my hand.
After years of loyalty to this and sister outlets I was astonished at the indifference.
Comments by the manager as I walked away had me return to advise him how arrogant he was and in deed gutless.

After skipping breakfast and heading to the shops on empty I decided to give Dobinsons a try. There was an older gentleman working the counter this day - who I can’t remember his name but I mentioned I review pies on IG. He offered me a free pie to try, but after refusing his kind gesture, I offered to pay for both my coffee and pie. I tapped my card and realised he had only charged me for the pie and not the coffee. He smiled and said at least have a free coffee on us. It’s this kind of customer service and quality that keeps businesses in business for as long as Dobinsons Bakery. I have revisited
