Classes continue online while NTI Campus remains closed during the Greater Sydney Lockdown. Nan Tien Institute (NTI) is Australia's first Government accredited, higher education provider with a strong focus on personal development in the areas of Buddhism, health and social wellbeing, mental health and mindfulness.

Each course incorporates contemplative education methods, mindfulness and embraces Buddhist values. We offer a range of tailored workshops for health and business professionals as well as accredited mindfulness for schools workshops.

I really wanted to like this institute but the Master degree I started there was very poorly planned. Face to face classes would be cool so close to the temple but Zoom classes to a small school with little experience is a waste of time and money. I raised my concerns with the highest levels of Institute governance but was largely dismissed and ignored. Certainly still some other good small providers out there, including some with contemplative practice -just wouldn't recommend NTI.

A good place to visit for your weekend day trip and experience the buddhist culture. You can also light candles and pray, and do a calligraphy writing session too.

Such a hidden gem amongst the Australian education system. A wonderful learning environment with excellent academics who understand the value of a mindful approach to postgrad study that also applies in the real world.
