Optometrist and practice owner Andrew Greer, BAppSc(Optom) GradCertOcTher, has been looking after Tamworth locals since 1994. Quite a few of his patients still remember him from the Tamworth Vision Centre days. Andrew Greer has 30 years of optometrical experience, and his Eyecare Plus practice features a complete suite of up-to-date diagnostic equipment.
At Eyecare Plus Tamworth we provide a complete range of optometrist services for people of all ages and needs. There's a lot more to it than just eye tests and glasses frames. We pride ourselves on looking after patients with complex requirements and challenging vision and medical conditions. This includes liaising with eye surgeons, general practitioners and other health professionals.
An Eye Test is routine and painless experience, so there is nothing to be apprehensive about. For optometrist Andrew Greer, you are the most important person in the room during your test, so relax and remember. Every child should have an eye exam before the start of school, and every 1-2 years thereafter.

Visiting Tamworth for the Country music festival and had lost my glasses in my travels... went to another shop, who wouldn't have been able to supply them within a week... however, they suggested...Eye care Plus!
Definitely excellent customer service throughout, pre consult, through consult with the Dr. who even brought out the picture / photo book to explain my eyes' condition, and the fitting at collection. Excellent team.
Know where to go when I'm ever back in town.
Oh, by the way....new glasses were ready in an hour!!! Delightful!

I actually don't wear glasses, but do have issues with eyelashes turning in and irritating the eye. Andrew deals with them quickly and easily, in addition to regular eye checks. Always an absolute pleasure to… deal with staff. Awesome service from each and every person there. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you all for your help.
