OPA is a small family business opening late in 2013. We are located in Southport on the Gold Coast providing a great platform to service not only the Gold Coast but South East Queensland and the East coast of Australia. Andy has been passionate about outboard motors from a very early age working on his school holidays with his Uncle Beresford Statham in his outboard business.
OPA now stocks a large range of quality second hand outboards. We stock all brands of outboards second hand and they range from 5hp up to 250hp engines. We pride ourselves on supplying quality second hand engines. Our workshop team thoroughly check all engines prior to sale and only if they pass our stringent pre-sale inspection/standards, we then service them so they are ready to fit or ship directly to you without delay.
We supply quality aluminum and stainless steel propellers which have been sourced from trusted and world renown brands such as: Baeksan Propellers, Solas and Turning Point. These companies supply propellers for nearly every type of engine on the market at present, so with such a huge selection to choose from, you can rest assured we will find you the most suitable propeller for your boat-engine set up.
They first started producing propellers in 1996 targeting mainly their own regional market however the success and an increasing demand has seen a rapid expansion into a large modern company exporting to 18 countries worldwide. Baeksan is now associated with the production of a high quality product delivering equal and often superior performance to their equivalent in original equipment.
We have a large range of second hand propellers for sale to suit from 2 hp up to 300 hp. Some are like new, others would be perfect for a spare should you run into trouble. We supply propellers for two and four stroke outboards for the below brands. I f we do not have the prop you are looking for second hand don't forget to ask us for a price for a brand new one.

I visited the team after having many failed attempts with other companies outboard parts Australia were extremely helpful and there prices were very reasonable had a few problems they called me first and gave me multiple solutions which saved me a lot of money great service would highly recommend for anyone needing servicing, parts or rebuilding your motor

Just chasing a Keyway & few other pieces for an old out board motor I’m working on. I went to 3 different outboard wreckers none of them could be bothered to even have a look. I went to outboard parts Australia Andy was helpful & found all the parts I needed. Good old fashion service!! Highly recommend!

Big shout out to Andy and the boys at Outboard Parts Australia Southport. Good blokes I reckon - Picked up a hard to find EMM to solve an issue I had with an Etec, an exact match at a more than reasonable price considering time and availability. I personally have been repairing boats for years and find Outboard Parts Australia at Southport my first call when looking for parts, they have a range of second hand outboards and spares; cheers again guys and thanks for swapping out the hydro.

BEWARE! Terrible experience, this 'hackanic' charged me $300 in labour for an electrical diagnosis on my outboard, he then admitted he couldn't track down the issue and quoted me over $2000 to replace everything on the ignition system, then refused to give me a written quote or a receipt for the $300 either, Dodgy as hell!

Unfortunately it developed a small intermittent problem which was very hard to isolate. I had a couple of local mechanics look at it but without success so I expected it was going to cost me dearly because the purchase invoice made it quite clear there was no warranty.
I asked Andy if there was anything he could do about it and even though it was the first working day after New year and he was flat out with boats to service, he said to

I’ve being to a few places and last one stuffed my boat up. I took to Andy and he was honest and seem like he wants to work on boat. He’s always very welcoming and seems very willing to help no matter what the dramas. I’ve being to the big boat shops who talk the talk but won’t touch an old motor cause it’s old a motor is a motor but anyway shows a good mechanic and Andy is the guy to go to.
