Services
Kyneton Bushland Resort was the very first timeshare resort established in Victoria. It was created in 1982 on a 123 acre property three kilometres from the historic township of Kyneton. The company is directed by a Board of Directors, all of whom are members of Kyneton Bushland Resort. All directors were elected to the Board by the members.
Kyneton Bushland Resort has 55 individual stand alone villas and seven apartments set amongst 50 acres of natural Australian bushland, allowing many of our guests to catch a glimpse some of Australia's native wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and a variety of bird species.

The accommodation is all fully self-contained allowing guests to stay in or head out and try some of the fantastic restaurants and cafes that Kyneton has to offer. The Resort is located approximately 80kms from Melbourne and is an easy drive on the Calder Freeway. Our central location means that we are only one hours drive from many popular tourist areas such as Daylesford, Bendigo, Ballarat and Melbourne.
Kyneton Bushland Resort offers affordable Motel rooms that are available for weekly, weekend or single night rental, perfect for business travellers, temporary accommodation or romantic getaways. Located close to the popular tourist destinations of Kyneton, Macedon, Hanging Rock, Daylesford, Ballarat and Bendigo.
Reception closes at 6pm on Friday. Please contact us if you will be arriving after 6pm to organise for your key to be collected after hours. Please let us know in advance if you are arriving late and we will make arrangements for you to pick up the key. Kyneton has a large Woolworths supermarket located in the centre of town that is open from 7am to 10pm every day.
At Kyneton Bushland Resort we welcome a wide variety of guests. Most of them are the owner-members of the resort but many are people who exchange from other resorts throughout Australia and, indeed, from around the world. As a resident of one of the surrounding properties, it would be appreciative that visitors are not advised not to enter private properties for ANY reason. If they happen to get "lost", they should back track from where they came instead of climbing over multiple fences.

We finally made it! It was our 5th attempt at a holiday, (thanks to numerous lockdowns!). The staff were awesome, we had numerous opportunities to book day trips through the facility & took advantage of some these.
The staff we helpful & informative. The local markets were good. I loved looking through the antique stores & opp shops, (though my husband was not as keen on this!)
The resort has some fun recreational activities available on site; canoeing, mini golf, swimming pool, spa & few others. Pancake breakfast is also something to enjoy.
Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful relaxing

Cannot Recommend Highly Enough! We’ve been before and love the little changes that have been made yet the resort itself is still pure tranquility 🌿 All of the staff are very helpful yet I must give a shout-out to Mel. From Booking, to a tour of Hanging Rock to a Pancake Breakfast Mel has gone above & beyond and is an asset to the Resort. Always smiling, friendly & welcoming. Thanks Mel & Kyneton Bush Resort 🙏 We’ll be back again 🙂

Peaceful setting, basic accommodation, but clean and well provisioned. Good covered pool area with spa and sauna, but spa temp needs adjusting and sauna needs instructions and water for steam. Lake is beautiful!

This place is a hidden gem! I wish I knew about it years ago! I will be a regular now!
Large, comfortable, modern rooms with excellent heating. Loads for the kids to do (even during Covid when some facilities were closed). Only a short drive into town to get supplies or go out for a meal. Friendly staff. Pool very warm which means swimming all year round. Very safe and secure feeling.
