At Balance we have a special interest in fertility. We use a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal, naturopathic and nutritional medicine to support you on your journey to parenthood. We look at underlying issues to support hormonal health, while supporting your physical and emotional well being.
A woman's hormones can be disturbed at any stage of her reproductive life and can arise as a consequence of disturbances in hormonal production, elimination and metabolism. Oh to be a woman! After a friend of mine shared details on Maria's ability to reverse a long-term rib issue, I went to Maria to see if she could help a two year old running injury in my foot. After not getting any results from Tria, Twin Cities Orthopedic, and Mayo Sports Clinic, Maria and her depth of knowledge in acupuncture, had me back in my running shoes after only 2 weeks of treatments. My foot is feeling better everyday and I expect to be free of pain all together after 6 weeks. Amazing!!!! Thank you, Maria!!

Maria is absolutely amazing. She has a gentle, caring presence and beautiful spirit. She genuinely wants to help you, and DOES! I've had acupuncture in the past, but it's nothing like Maria's. With regular acupuncture I was pregnant in 3 months compared to 3 years with going through a fertility clinic. No injections needed- just herbs and relaxing acupuncture that always made me feel renewed and balanced. I always look forward to my sessions with Maria. It's now a mandatory part of taking care of myself, especially now that I'm a busy mom!

I was referred to Maria by a friend after being involved in a freak accident while on vacation (fell backwards off a 6 foot deck & landed on my head/back on cement--due to a faulty deck railing). My body and mind were a complete mess and I'm so glad I called to make the appointment!
