Blanck Street Veterinary Surgery is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories.

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. David graduated from the University of Queensland in 1985. He has worked in several Small Animal Practices, Emergency Centres and worked in a Companian Animal Surgery in the UK for a few years soon after graduating. He has a keen interest in Surgery and Ultrasonography. He continues to keep his education current so he is aware of new technology and treatments so that your pet gets the best of what is available.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available.

David, Julie, Lou and the team are wonderful. 😊 I switched from a big mainstream vet I was unhappy with to these guys after hearing how good they were. Best thing I ever did! These guys truly care, it’s old school veterinary care. Great advice, problems actually solved and I’m not feeling like I have to take a loan out to cover the costs. Give these guys a go, you won’t regret it. 🐾🐶

The blanck st vet was like a proper old school vet the vet Dr Dave listened to my story and checked out my bull Arab .The way he handled and went over the dog I decided this is my Vet there and then. My dog was very relaxed and happy with the vet too. He went to lengths to explain his ailment and show'd me photos of the issue and gave me some tablets and care info. Being new to the area I'd been to a couple of vets but felt my pet was being seen by a nurse and although they were pleasant enough I wanted a bit more involvement and info. Blanck st was a pleasant suprise as was the bill. I Would highly

I had to take one of my beautiful fur babies in on Friday and say good bye to her. David, Julie, Lisa and the crew have looked after Amber for 14 years. Amber loved going to the vets, because she was always made to feel very special and loved. Their compassion and caring on this hardest of days was amazing. Thank you guys 😢😢😘😘💔💔
