It was a nightmare, dealing with the Dockside venue people when I paid the full amount two weeks before the function date. With the current Covid 19 numbers,
We had people dropping out everyday up until the day. In the end we had 40 people not show. As a bride, I was already stressed and the venue made me even more. We asked if they're was anything they could do so we wouldn't be out of pocket or at least have something additional with that extra money that was paid. Genevieve was not compassionate at all and couldn't care less. She didn't want to help at all. I had to fight to get Lenita to give

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was highly stressful but Julia & the team at Dockside were so accomodating, understanding and helpful especially when it came to rescheduling our wedding. Julia was ontop of every little detail leading up to the wedding and ensured the whole process was as stress free as possible. The service was amazing and the food was lovely. Would recommend Dockside to all my family and friends.

Absolutely disappointed. My daughter received mashed potatoes and vegetables for a main meal. They said they can cater for her dietary requirements but this is the best they can do. I was asked “ what else would you expect us to serve her “ Overpriced and disgusted with the customer service. Will never recommend this venue. Maybe you need to get some chefs with some skills .

Recently, my daughter & son-in-law had their Wedding at L’Aqua in the Terrace Room and we couldn’t have had the most perfect night. Right from the moment we saw this venue, we knew it was for us with the beautiful views of Darling Harbour from the stunning outside terrace as well as inside the glass windowed venue, choices of menu, and the great communication with their venue manager Julia Protasi. We had our engagement party in the Gold Room at L'Aqua. Communication with the staff was great leading up to the event. We knew exactly what to expect on the day and there were no surprises.
The room itself was beautiful and our guests kept complimenting the space and the vibe. We had an afternoon function and the view of the harbour was just perfect.
The waitstaff were all so friendly and helpful, even looking out for our guests with dietary requirements to make sure they were looked after.

Lenita, Julia and the team at Dockside were nothing short of amazing during the whole process of our Wedding. From having to reschedule due to lockdown to going above and beyond to help us planning the night. We'd highly recommend Dockside to family and friends moving forward. Recently had my wedding at one of their venues and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Very good at sending payment reminders before the date but will not answer your calls after the wedding is over with any problems(Lenita and Julia). Totally reject any feedback or concerns that customers have and want to put blame on others instead of apologising for their mistakes (bunch of liars with no ownership).

Amazing thank you to everyone at dockside for making our day so special. Tjinta our wedding co ordinator is the loveliest person to work with nothing was too much of an ask she was with us all along the way.… Thank you Tjinta for being so kind and so responsive and helpful.
On the day the floor manager Emin was so kind and helpful we felt so happy with all the staff and how they looked after us and our guests. Amazing experienced waiters and waitresses.
The food was exceptional 5 star quality. Well done to the Chef and all cooks.
