The Creative Elephant understands how important creativity is for a child's healthy mental development and should be encouraged at every opportunity. Creativity provides children with the opportunity to express their ideas and their feelings. It offers an outlet for children to cope with issues that concern them.

As residents living near this child care centre we have observed and witnessed on an ongoing basis babies and toddlers screaming intermittently in the garden from parent separation anxiety. As a result the residents and other children playing in the garden at the centre are subjected to this screaming. As residents and parents ourselves we find this disturbing, inconsiderate and disrespectful to all.
