At Chifley Early Learning Centre, we believe that children learn through play. Our daily program aligns strongly with Loris Malaguzzi's Reggio Emilia approach to learning. Our centre is structured to allow the environment to become the third educator, which in turn offers children open-ended experiences to explore avenues such as imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Our warm and caring Educators are the heart and soul of our childcare centre, and they are committed to helping every child reach their full potential. Fully-qualified, and with a deep understanding of how young children learn and develop, our Educators play an integral role in your child's development and wellbeing.
We are honoured to have an important role in assisting children to learn to protect and cherish our natural world. Our curriculum teaches sustainable practices and encourages children to develop an appreciation and love for the natural environment. Children learn by example, and our Educators actively promote sustainable practices and taking care of the beautiful world we live in.
We provide all of our children with a morning snack, lunch, afternoon tea, a little late snack, and beverages too. Our professional centre Chef carefully plans our centre menus to ensure they are developmentally appropriate and provide our children with at least half of their daily nutritional requirements.

I can't say enough positive things about Chifley Early learning Centre. As a FTM I was apprehensive about starting my little boy in day care but I am glad I stuck with CELC because just in a few months it became a home away from home for my little one. I surveyed quite a few day cares in the city and I got a very comforting feeling when I came here. The centre director Dani-elle has always been accomodating in every way be it casual day bookings or helping me get my little boy started in daycare peacefully. allowed ample orientations so I could get him started full time when he was ready. My 8 month old attends the centre 5 days and is all smiles from the moment we walk in the door in the morning. The educators are very friendly and always smiling. They have been great at supporting my little one through her development ensuring she gets plenty of tummy time and receiving lots of stimulation (craft/painting, yoga, excursions to the park). It is reassuring to know my baby is being looked after so well each day.
