Does a Dual Living property need to be rezoned, require a Development Approval (DA) or a Material Change of Use (MCU)?. No. Provided that the building regulations are observed, any land where a house can be built will equally suit a Dual Living property, providing that it is allowed in a particular council area and the builder follows regulations.
