Johann's career started back in 1974 when he graduated with a BA in Engineering from the University of Pretoria. He worked for various companies over the following 6 years managing construction projects from Aerodomes and Dual Carriageways, to Container Docks and Bridges to the value of $30 million.
Background and Scope: Purchased originally as a rural property, we engaged our projects team in an extensive property planning and rezoning exercise to secure the rights to subdivide the property into 47 lots. Feasibility, due diligence, drafting of contract structures and securing purchase agreements.
Background and Scope: The planning of the Zuvela Estate started back in 2008. The land development (lot 451 as it was then called), went through various stages subdivide off the land reserved exclusively for Crown use, with that reserved for residential development. After being granted environmental and water management clearances in 2010, the project could finally get off the ground.
Background & Scope: Appointed as Project Managers to initiate this development, we scoped the vision of the complex with the intention of completely reviving the Duncraig Shopping Centre. Originally located on a plot of land that was used as a fuel station, we were responsible for managing and coordinating all environmental clearances for its desired use.
