Patients that have a fever, cough, sore throat or breathing difficulties should inform our reception upon booking on the day or before arrival. You may be asked to wait in your car and a doctor will phone you before entry to the clinic. In an endeavour to comply with social distancing requirements we are reducing the number of patients in our waiting room by asking you to come to your appointment alone.
Your partner, friend or companion are welcome to wait in the car for you but we ask that they do not wait in the waiting room for you. We are also utilising Telehealth appointments to assist patients to access the care of a doctor, without the need to attend the clinic. Please ask our reception team if you are eligible for a Telehealth consultation.

Services
The philosophy of Cavenagh Medical is to enable and encourage people to make the best health choices available to them through clear communication with the treating staff, good resources and providing high quality staff who are committed to their work. We do not intend to become a large medical centre focussed on patient turn-over.
We would be grateful if you would request sufficient time when making your appointment. If you have multiple problems to discuss with the doctor please ask for a long appointment. Minor procedures usually require more time than the standard consult so please advise reception when booking.
These include: removal of skin lesions, allergy testing, insertion or removal of implanon (not available at the moment) and mirena IUCD insertion (not available at the moment) and iron infusion. If you feel that your problem is more urgent than our first available appointment please advise reception so that we may be able to accommodate your needs.

Cavenagh Medical offers a stimulating environment for students and registrars, and a challenging opportunity for qualified doctors to interact in a supportive and modern medical centre. Cavenagh Medical centre is a RACGP accredited training post. We supervise and mentor registrars and RMOs while they are gaining general practice experience.
My Health Record - what is it? Through the My Health Record system GPs across the country can access information about your medical history, including discharge summaries, shared health summaries, event summaries, MBS and PBS history, specialist letters, medication prescriptions and dispense records.
At Cavenagh Medical we pride ourselves on carefully selecting a team who are at the forefront of general practitioner medicine to meet your health needs. We are an accredited teaching practice with GP registrars. These doctors are fully qualified and are undergoing their advanced specialist GP training.

The phone number i took from their website!! Well i still couldn’t believe it then i tried again at different time&day, with different form of number!! I WOULD NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS MEDICAL CENTRE.
Extremely rude, unorganise and unprofessional clinic I have ever dealth with!
Called to try and make an appointment for my colleagues to get the Covid19 Vaccine. (They fall under Phase 1A). I first spoke to a young lady who explained they were not up to making bookings for corporate customers at this stage, as vaccinations only started yesterday. Then when I asked if she knew which other clinics provided the Vaccine, (as I hadnt had the chance to check other clinic details). She trasnferred me to any lady who may have been the manager of this

Probably the most unprofessional medical practice I have come across, waiting up to 45 min to see a doctor, I do not mind waiting. However when the receptionist tell you it might be a 20 minute wait for your appointment with 2 patients before you, no problem but after the 2 patients left and 45 minutes later the doctor left on lunch!! So we just sit here for another hour and wait with a tired 18 month old to be seen for 5 minutes and charged 90 dollars for the privilege?
