The Flying Fish is situated on the idyllic beach front at Horseshoe Bay, Port Elliot. The caf and restaurant is named after an old two masted schooner which was wrecked in the bay in 1860 - one of a number of ships to meet this fate while Horseshoe Bay operated as a seaport in that period.

Robyn's mantra is simple - to deliver the best functions and weddings on the South Coast. And she's been doing this for some time. The Flying Fish cafe has been serving gourmet fish and chips in its signature cones for over a decade. The cafe menu features our famous Coopers Sparkling Ale battered fish and chips, as well as salt and pepper squid, prawns, calamari, freshly-made seafood baguettes, vegetarian options and fresh salads.
Enjoy the beautiful views over Horseshoe Bay while sampling freshly shucked oysters, local seafood or a premium eye fillet steak. Alternatively, there are many light options for casual cafe-style lunch. Also, look out for our midweek lunch specials! We have an extensive wine and beer list - after all, there are few better places to enjoy a glass of your favourite drop.
Jo and the staff were amazing in the lead up to the day, on the night and after the celebrations had finished. The food was equally amazing and there was PLENTY even for a cocktail wedding. They went above and beyond. My wife and I agreed the best oysters we have ever had and the main courses were fantastic.
