Becks Bakehouse began with little more than a set of small ovens and a couple of trestle tables, one cash register and a little fridge in 1982. Now, over three decades later with so much passion for fresh baked goods, those humble beginnings have grown into three of the finest bakeries, loved by many across Adelaide.
Pioneered by our location on Winston Avenue, Melrose Park, Our other bakeries in Somerton Park Oaklands Rd and Clarke Street Port Noarlunga soon followed. Becks have become a signature business of Adelaide's southern suburbs, and we continue to grow and serve the community that we love.

Becks Port Noarlunga has introduced a unique loyalty card system that has become so popular with almost 11,000 members. With a beck's membership card you will receive 10c back to every $1 (exclusion of drinks from fridge, newspapers and birthday cakes) you spend in store. You then can accrue your value to a desired amount and spend the money in store.

Whilst the other members of my family enjoyed the delicious array of icecream available, I was disappointed in the lack of choice for dairy and gluten free options. Only chocolate or vanilla. Nothing special or exciting.
Service was great and the seating outside is plentiful.

You would expect pastry at a bakery at 10am in the morning to be relatively fresh and not have mould growing.
Upon returning to the venue with the evidence, the young staff at the counter were apologetic, who then also reported this to a lady who appeared to be management, however her response was a stare from a distance with a nod perhaps simply approving a refund. I just expected more than that for consuming mould; hence the review. Hope the business takes this feedback on board.

Had a lovely morning at Becks Bakehouse
The spinach, cheese and tomato 'sausage' roll was lovely, the coffee was very nice.
The cakes and savories look lovely
Everyone in the group of our 5 had something different and it was all agreed quite nice.
Will go back again.

I love this place for the overall feels of it - freshly baked bread and pastries coming in and out of the kitchen, bustling with activity, salty air wafting through from the beautiful coast. Just for the experience, I would recommend dropping by.
The food was slightly disappointing but I’m hoping I just didn’t get the right items and would like to go back and try their other pastries/breads. I got the curry chicken pie ($5.50) - I would have liked the pastry to be flakier and the curry filling to have more of a punch. The curry tasted abit watered down. The smoked salmon and cheese bread

I absolutely adore this place. It's like heaven by the beach. Beautiful Beck's. Everything on the menu is amazing. Trust me, we've tried! You will never be disappointed.
Breakfast, Lunch, Tea Takeaway, Sweet Treats. Lovely coffee too! After being there everyday for the past week. I recommend, literally everything on the menu! ;)
Ham & Cheese Croissants, Eggs Benedict Roll, Quiches, Pies, Pastries, Pizza Flatbread, Lamingtons! The banana bread/toast is to die for :o
