The Hawaiian Ride for Youth is held annually over four and a half days, with riders travelling 700kms from Albany to Perth to raise funds and awareness for Youth Focus.

Services
Youth Focus delivers frontline services and education programs which aim to reduce symptoms associated with suicide, depression, anxiety and self-harm, and build long-term mental wellbeing to help young people reach their full potential. In addition to our core service offering of free face-to-face counselling, we engage with communities to educate and build awareness about youth mental health issues and suicide prevention.
Established in 1994, Youth Focus is a leading not-for-profit organisation that delivers innovative and accessible mental health services and programs across Western Australia to help at-risk young people aged 12 to 25 lead full and healthy lives. For a relatively young charity, Youth Focus has experienced significant growth and continues to gain momentum in the area of youth suicide prevention. The timeline below charts the development of our organisation and our key milestones. Mr Peter Fitzpatrick and Mr Ronald Woss AM join forces in mid-1990 determined to find a path to assist at-risk youth in Western Australia.
Are you feeling sad, angry, lonely, or not sure how you are feeling, but just don't feel okay? Many young people have these experiences. Making sense of how we feel is hard for most of us, but during adolescence this can become even more of a struggle. The counsellors at Youth Focus are here to listen and help you with whatever you need.
If life is in danger, dial 000 for immediate assistance. If a person is highly distressed, feeling unsafe and thinks they are a risk to themselves, go to a public emergency department. The Mental Health Emergency Response Line (MHERL), free call on 1300 555 788 (metro) or 1800 676 822 (regional). Clinicians at MHERL provide assessment, specialist intervention, and support for people experiencing a mental health emergency and if required.
