What is the sprouted difference? Sprouting has the power to supercharge and unlock nutrients, making it easier for our bodies to digest and better use those nutrients. Rather than using flour, our products are made from freshly sprouted whole grains and seeds. Food that's best for you is made using ingredients grown in healthy nutrient-dense soils.

Pure Life began in 1988 in a farm barn in the hinterland of Byron Bay where wheat grain was being germinated to form a wholesome bread alternative. A couple of years later the operation moved down the road to the idyllic seaside town of Yamba. Having always a strong interest in health, fitness and plant-based nutrition, Terry and Helen Anderson quickly became passionate about the sprouted breads that were being crafted locally.
All I can say is Wow, I have only just discovered your bread and for the first time in my life, my body is working the way it should. I've lost weight, I'm not craving sweet things, I'm full and satisfied, I have more energy. I can't thank you enough. I bought some of the Ezekiel bread and it is awesome, I love it.
Each ingredient is handled with care throughout the delicate activation, sprouting, grinding and baking process. All of our ingredients are real, whole foods that are certified organic or certified biodynamic. What you see is what you get - this means no nasties and no additives, perfect for those with food sensitivities or food allergies.
When we unlock the nutrients available in our food through sprouting, we make it easier for our bodies to use those nutrients to increase our energy, boost our immune system, regulate hormones, improve gut health and so much more. While whole grains and their sprouted counterparts contain the same nutrients, the amount of nutrients can vary.
FODMAPs is an acronym referring to the short-chain carbohydrates (sugars) that can often be difficult to digest. For those with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), FODMAPs aren't absorbed properly in the gut and can cause digestive stress and exacerbate symptoms of IBS such as abdominal pain, discomfort, bloating, flatulence, diarrhoea or constipation.
