Bar and wait staff are friendly and doing their best, but the service overall was terrible and food was overpriced, sub-standard pub grub. We waited over 20 mins for drinks. The schooner of beer had sat on the bar for so long it was flat and warm when it arrived. The ‘Chefs’ (and I use that term generously) seem to be totally inept. Couldn’t cook a steak to order and when we sent it back I am 99% sure the exact same steak came back with a different label (they put wooden stakes in the meat to classify the cook time - medium, well done etc). The sauces are bland and tasteless and taste like

Our extraordinary experience started once we were delightfully greeted by the gracious Maitre’d Paul at the door, and whisked away to a semi-private alfresco area. Ordering was a breeze, and the carefully crafted drinks selection had us intrigued and deliberating over the endless selection of liquid delights. Do yourself a favour and make friends with the noteworthy “Falafel Salad” which had my taste buds singing in symphony with the well balanced green goddess dressing bringing everything together superbly. Bravo Paul and team, we will be back - and next time with the whole family!!!

Great customer service, lots of space, great quality food. Bit expensive, but great for kids. Play area for both little and big kids. Book in advance, gets super busy.
Lots of parking, and right on Salt Beach.
Get dessert at the ice cream shop up the road and go for a lovely walk along the beach after dinner!

It's a pretty typical family bistro.
Prices were ok, food was ok. Staff were attentive and friendly.
I had a standard; 250g med-rare rump with veg.
It was cooked well and seemed larger than other places. The veg were lots of greens sauteed in oil and garlic. Jacket potatoes. It was good value for money size wise, but lacked flavor a bit.
Had Heineken Zero, a pretty good non-alc choice.
Atmosphere was busy and buzzy. We had to go the 4 to 6 timeslot as later session was fully booked.
They have a large deck area (not a great view, but nice green parklike area)

Overrated and overpriced. Disgusting oysters kilpatrick at $49 for a dozen and we couldn’t eat them - undercooked and yet burnt the bacon?!?. Somehow stuffed up a steak sanga, overcooked cheap steak and flavourless. The rump was also over cooked, no seasoning whatsoever. Kids couldn’t eat the dried out chicken tenders. Paid a fortune for inedible food. No idea why anyone would be recommending this place. Absolute rip off. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Well to start off with super nice staff. Very sweet and kind. The food came pretty fast and it wasn’t cold. My friends kids Loved the playground. Since I was on a One of those non-alcohol diet I had an orange juice.
The Orange juice came very quickly and it was cold but when I started drinking it I started to get sick it kinda taste like windex the smell but you can taste it I know it doesn’t make sense but it didn’t taste like orange I got a bit sick but if you could check your orange juice to see what’s in it I would love that part from that very good food filled me up quickly and I

Safe Covid and vaccination check in. Staff very friendly and I was greeted on entry. Had a beer in the bar then headed out to the balcony to get some lunch. Ice cold beer and food was very good went with the Wagyu burger and the Vege burger. Very fresh and tasty. Great for the whole family to have a bite to eat of just to have a beer.

Stopped into the bistro after everything around closed and didn't know what to anticipate. Can honestly say one of the best pub meals I have had in so long.
Massive serves, fresh quality and really delicious.
Day one was the cheese platter with the dips. The dips were hearty serves with great slices of turkish bread. To this we had the calamari, and a serve of fish and chips. There were 2 large pieces of fish with fresh salad and chips. Generous, tasty and perfectly cooked.
Last night we got to the bistro minutes before they closed and thankfully took our order. THANK YOU!! I got the rump medium
