Our target is to make your journey even better and as practical, luxury or smart as you like. 10 years ago we bought our first RV and after we settled in Australia one of our first investments here was: we bought a commercial van and converted the van into a Campervan to travel on the East Coast.

Recently purchased a Fiamma Roll out awning for my Toyota Hiace camper van and had it installed by Southern Spirit Campervans. Very much impressed by the workmanship and fitting. Also the owners are very friendly and helpful with the initial decision of correct size and location for fitting. Would recommend this company to any one who is looking for purchasing and fitting of a Van awning. Also aware they sell other items suitable for Vans as well.

We had a complete conversion carried out by Southern Spirit and received the completed vehicle a year ago, so have had time to test it out.
Our setup was very custom. We wanted a 3 person layout in the pioneer style, with the kitchen at the back. Our vehicle is a T6 transporter. Pia warned us that the pioneer layout has lower storage, but it was our preferred option, so we needed a good design. We had many conversations and emails with Pia sorting out our design and even then we had to modify it once the conversion started, and Oli worked out exactly what would fit. Their patience and knowledge

Brilliant online store. Exceptional quality products for DIY van conversions, they are also exceptional craftspersons and offer professional services for custom camper van fit outs, the best I've come across.
My purchases from this company have included a back and side door screen, 7ply window shields and a solid steel lug that latches onto the back door mechanism, enabling the hinged door to remain open an inch while still being locked.
I have tried other screens for my van but the quality didn't even come close. The owners manufacture these screens in their own premises.

Fantastic customer service! I ordered a few parts from the website, the order arrived with one part missing. I sent an email to let them know and within a few minutes received a phone call from Pia apologising for the mistake, and asking whether I would like a refund or for them to ship out another part asap. I'm very impressed! I will certainly be ordering from them again.

I had a poptop roof added to my VW transporter by Southern Spirt, Ollie’s workmanship can’t be faulted, the finish is perfect. The Quality of the product (Reimo brand) is the best out there and worth every cent. And Pia’s friendly service and above and beyond helpfulness makes the whole process easy. If you’re converting a van these are the guys, their knowledge is second to none.

I want to thank you for your outstanding service and product. The New Classic Tailgate Tent was not advertised to fit my AIR STREAM AVENUE, but, with very minor modifications, it does. Buying from an overseas outlet caused me some concerns.
