Great van, we used this driving around Tasmania for a week, perfect, a few small maintenance problems like broken hinges to cupboards, fly screens clunky to use ( we actually had trouble getting the fuel cap off would check this before you leave) other than that, great van, bed was comfy, we went all the way round in a week and only had to top up the fuel once and once again when we dropped it back, if we where to do similar again we would definitely get the sandpiper again.

With Covid we had to change our plans four time because of lock downs, I could not of been happier with the company and how they worked with us to find a date to suit us without any extra charges.
The RV was very well set up with everything we needed, The only reason i did not give 5 stars on this review was the nose inside the RV while driving on my way home to pick up everything, but in saying that a little work in placing things between pots and pans, plates and cups and wrapping knifes and folks to stop them from rubbing together and rattling made a huge difference. I enjoyed the rv that I hired. It was very comfortable to drive and park. It was hired to me in a clean condition with all the necessary equipment inside.
The only thing I was sorry about, was that it didn't have an awning. When the weather was wet, it was a matter of staying inside. Otherwise I enjoyed my trip.

Beware of this company. Do not book. Once you book you will lose your deposit and the company will refuse to give any refund no matter the circumstances. The Terms and Conditions of your rental will keep changing and can never find the original T&Cs as website links keep changing. Totally dissatisfied with any correspondence received from the company and very basic understanding of rental agreement.

I had a terrible experience when booking with discovery campervans. We had our holiday cancelled due to Covid-19 and discovery wanted to initially only refund me 40% of my booking and keep over $2000 to their greedy selves. To justify this they said Go Cheap (the actually van company) were only giving them this amount. I called Go Cheap and this was lies, Go Cheap offered 100% refunds during this time. I then received a 'credit note' worth $775.
Now comes for me to book my holiday again and Discovery Campervans tell me the credit note can only be used for the deposit - meaning I have to forfeit
