Services
To aid our patients further in their quest to better movement, we have the latest state of the art technology to asses the foot, the foot arches and foot biomechanics, which allows the chiropractor to prescribe custom made orthotics. Multi-Wave Locked system (MLS) medical laser overcomes the limitations of traditional medical lasers by combining two wavelengths (808nm and 905nm) simultaneously.
A thorough history will be taken, and will be followed by a physical assessment to identify the 'cause' of your complaint. A Neurological, Orthopaedic, and Chiropractic specific examination will be conducted, our practitioner will then discuss the approach to treatment with you, and if you are happy, treatment can commence on your initial consult.
MLS laser therapy is a cold laser treatment modality that focuses on using light energy as the mean of alleviating pain and inflammation. This non-invasive treatment that capitalises on delivering light energy to damaged cells which increases their activity. This increased activity of a cell helps and speeds up ligament, muscle, tendon and general tissue recovery.
Only Foot Levelers functional orthotics support all 3 arches of the foot, which make up the plantar vault. They're custom-made by hand, based on your unique feet, body, and health profile. Just as no two bodies are alike, no two pairs of Foot Levelers custom orthotics are alike. Over-the-counter orthotics may initially cost less, but they only support one arch in your foot.
In this visit, we take a thorough medical history, physical examination and provide treatment. This appointment is for combined chiropractic and laser treatment. Laser speeds up the process of healing and combined with manual therapy such as chiropractic care maximises the benefits. Standard chiropractic appointment.

I visited Balanced for Life with a very bad neck posture and shoulder issues. Dr. Lindy and Dr. Kara are awesome chiropractors. They did a complete assessment of my posture and gave me a great plan on how to work this out. I am currently with them for few weeks now and already feeling great with my posture and neck issues. Visiting Balanced for life and being treated by Dr Kara Hayes has been amazing during my pregnancy and in particular during lockdown. My pregnancy induced sciatica has greatly improved thus improving my pregnancy experience. It was also lovely to see Dr Kara, at times weekly who is extremely friendly and helpful. The practice is a lovely and calm environment.

What's not to like about Balanced For Life? From your first step through the door, there is always a cheerful happy face (behind a mask) you can't ignore! Exceptional service! I had initial concerns about attending chiro especially being pregnant, however, the relaxing atmosphere and Dr Kara put my mind at ease. She is very thorough throughout treatment and keeps you well informed as to what she's doing, her recommendations and why. It's very reassuring and empowering. Chiro with Dr Kara has helped me with so much more than I thought it would!
