Stirk Medical Group
We have been bringing a high standard of health care to the Hills and Foothills community for over 50 years and are committed to good, affordable and accessible healthcare to all. We are named after the Stirk Family who were some of the first settlers in the area. They were tough and committed. They raised several children in the tiny wattle and daub cottage which can still be seen next to Stirk Park, in extremely arduous conditions.

Their tenacity has inspired the founders of Stirk Medical Group to work hard and move forward for the good of the community. Please feel free to be our friend on Facebook. It will enable us to send you important local information about health from time to time. We are also able to send text messages to your mobile phone if you choose, so that you will never forget your appointment.
Services
There is also information relating to Doctors working at the practice. Their Consulting Sessions are detailed in a helpful timetable. This shows the doctors working in either morning surgeries or afternoon surgeries, and at which practice location. There are details relating to different types of consultations, how long some of those consultations take (either a Standard Consultation, Long Consultation, or Minor Op, etc.)
To return to the Stirk Website, click anywhere outside of the appointment window. Should the list of available practitioners NOT load immediately, choose an appointment time, then return to the main Appointment window, by selecting "Choose another appointment time". Kalamunda is the largest and busiest of the surgeries and is the administrative hub of Stirk Medical Group.
Having been a family home in the past, the Newburn Road surgery retains a comfortable family feel, which we like. It was originally built as a family home by Dr Chris Dickson, who was the founder of Stirk Medical Group back in 1964. He and his wife and children lived there for several years, while consulting from the rooms which Clinical Labs Pathology Collection Centre currently use.
Should you have a problem with the payment of an account, please discuss this with your doctor. We are always willing to take individual circumstances into consideration. Procedures and services involving the use of the Theatre, at any of our surgeries, will attract a non Medicare rebatable fee. This is to cover dressings, instrument sterilisation and other medical consumables.
