JC Butko Engineering was established in 1976 in Albury/Wodonga by John and Carolyn Butko and has developed to our present size with a total workshop area of 4200 square meters on three hectares with an additional 450 square meters of administration area. Today it is the Region's largest general engineering company.
JC Butko Engineering Pty. Ltd. was established in the mid 1970s and has developed to our present size with an average annual turnover of $20 Million. Our main facility has a workshop area of 4,000 square metres (on 3 hectares) with an additional 300 square metres of Administration area.
JC Butko Engineering have a very diversified workshop with projects ranging from large structural steel, large developed sections, tanks, pipe spooling, conveyor systems, food and materials handling systems, pressure vessel work in either mild steel or stainless steel.Our Machine shop can handle turning up to 5m between centres together with our CNC lathe and Four Axis Machine Centre for production runs as required.

We presently have a workforce of 128 tradespersons comprising of boilermakers, pipe fitters, pressure welders, fitter-machinists, sheet metal workers and apprentices complemented by our management team including mechanical engineers, estimators, project manager's, supervisor's, in-house design and detail drafting together with administration and accounts.

Tanks and vessels range from large capacity products required in the pulp and paper, timber and mining industries to the intricate requirements of the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
Our Pipework & Pressure Systems business unit provides a wide range of products and services to satisfy our clients' needs in the engineering and construction industry. We are conversant with all aspects of pressure piping, refrigeration piping and stainless steel pipework to meet specific codes of compliance.
