Carabella Early Learning is a family based organisation, aiming to provide the highest standards of care and early childhood development for children from six weeks to six years of age. We also aim to provide an environment and conditions where staff can flourish in their role as educators of young children.
Aesthetic beauty and respect is only the start, as it is the excellent team of qualified, experienced and knowledgeable staff at Carabella that make us who we are. We support our staff by assisting them in furthering their own qualifications and attending in-services, and to network with other services in order to challenge and develop their own practices.

Carabella Early Learning is a family based organisation, aiming to provide the highest standards of care and early childhood development for children from six weeks to six years of age. We acknowledge and support children's interests and strengths to enhance and facilitate their learning process.
We endeavour to meet the need of children's natural curiosity by providing opportunities for them to experiment, discover, solve problems and find out about themselves, other people and the world around them.

These outcomes are broad and acknowledge that children learn in a variety of ways and vary in their capabilities and will ultimately learn at their own pace. The programs are planned to provide a balance between indoor and outdoor activities, active and passive participation, large and small group involvement, large and small muscle development, and Teacher directed versus child initiated activities.
This includes offering breast milk or formula, introducing new food in consultation with family as well as keeping children's own sleep patterns. Children are encouraged to keep a comfort item with them while they settle and educators will be in close physical proximity until children feel they have a secure base for exploration.
Our toddler educators maintain the sensory play offered in the nursery, extending children's vocabulary as they play. Early social skills are a huge part of this age group as they learn to take turns, share equipment and regulate their emotions. Small groups at mealtimes help toddlers to choose, self-feed and have consistent interactions with an educator.
Our Junior preschool build on the skills learnt in our toddler, further extending social development as children are beginning to play cooperatively. Small group experiences that cover a range of learning areas are provided for children and educators move between areas to facilitate play. Children in this room are able to play for short periods without an adult by their side at all times and the equipment is designed for autonomy.
