In our early years the company worked mainly as an earthmoving contractor primarily for builders; preparing building platforms, excavating footings and generally undertaking site works. Bardavcol's first project was an extension to an Administration Building for Woolworth's Salisbury East depot.
This led to a range of civil works projects for builders and developers including undertaking major subdivisions initially for developers and later for themselves.As the company matured, we moved into other areas of civil engineering and began taking on larger projects as the Head Contractor.

Bardavcol is prequalified by the South Australian Department of Infrastructure & Transport to the highest levels (R5 for road construction and B4 for bridge construction) under the national prequalification scheme for the construction of roads and bridges.

Michael has contributed to the successful procurement and construction of civil infrastructure for a number of clients, predominately DIT and SA Water and has direct management experience in a number of delivery models including Construct only, Design and Construct and Early Contractor Involvement.

Bardavcol have been at the forefront of developing and maintaining governance systems for over a quarter of a century. We were amongst the first in South Australia to achieve the coveted ISO 9001 Certification in 1998, which showcased that our systems in the 1990's achieved great commitment to quality control, customer service and product integrity.
