I visited Dr Bourne at this office for the first time last week. I found the girl at the front desk (Kahla) very pleasant and helpful. The office seemed to be running smoothly and I got to see my doctor at the scheduled time. I was extremely pleased with the actual consultation as well. Overall I am very happy with my first impressions

I have been a patient of one of the doctors at Mariners Medical for 20 years. That doctor is currently on leave. My cardiologist just contacted me when he received the result of an echocardiogram just completed and advised me that I needed to urgently change one of my medications to minimise the risk of a stroke. He told me the medication required and dosage and said I should go see my GP to get it immediately. I tried to make an appointment at Mariners and was told the earliest I could be seen was Saturday - it is currently Wednesday morning. I explained the circumstance and that all I need is

Booked an appointment over the phone and gave my details (name/dob/phone #) Arrived on time and was told rudely that I wasn't in the system and they weren't taking new patients. No effort was made to rectify the situation or find out who booked me in over the phone. Showed proof that their number was on my phone on the date of the booking and all I got was indifference. Very upset. This was a much needed appointment and the staff made me feel like an idiot and a liar.

Very disappointed with the attitude of this surgery. I have been seeing doctor Bircher for the last 25 or more years and followed him over from Killarney vale. Unfortunately because I have not had to see a doctor in the last 3 years I am now not eligible to go back as I would now be classed as a new patient and they are no longer taking new patients.

If you're a woman I don't reccomened even attempting this place. A woman should not be made to feel ashamed for attempting to book in an overdue pap with a female Dr. My regular Male Dr does not do these and I have visited this centre in the past and the woman who just took my phone call was down right nasty. Never will I visit again. Yous should honestly be ashamed.

This surgery needs work asap, you can NEVER get an appointment and when you do its with doctors that just like to swipe your card . i have seen Dr Burcher 3 time for my 6 yrs old son on different occasions (only because he was the only dr available) my son has had high fevers and unwell, he sent we away with no medication or any understanding on what's wrong. I went again this week cos my son again is unwell with high fever for 3 days, again I got nothing from the DR but to be told have Panadol, I told the DR the last 2 times I was here we ended up in hospital the next day, Dr said "Oh Ok well

I was overseas for several months as my parents passed away and I had to organise personal business. When I came back for an appointment here, the manager gave me a complete attitude problem, and gave me instructions on how to transfer my records to a new clinic. She also demanded to know in front of everyone in the waiting room about why I haven't been back in several months. I don't see why my personal life outside the clinic is any of their business let alone why they give patients an attitude problem if they haven't visited in a while. They sound like they're hard up for business. Definitely
