Downtime are a premiere Melbourne based Jazz band who are perfect to play for your event, whether it be a corporate function, wedding or house party, Downtime will cater for those looking for both smooth background music, grooving modern Jazz sounds and upbeat funky & soulful dance music.

Downtime are a sophisticated and lively Jazz band made up of Saxophone, Double & Electric bass, Guitar and Drums and can also feature one of the many talented singers we work with to complete the 5 piece line up.The band will create a vibrant atmosphere and can accommodate any need.

100% professional musicians with formal music training, national and international experience. When it comes to parties, whether it's a birthday party, wedding anniversary or any special occasion, people want to relax, mingle with friends and overall have a good time and a Jazz bands contribution can make it one to remember.

Our fees depend on several factors such as the location of the event and how long the band is needed for. Please contact us and we can provide you with a quote. We generally play 3 x 45 minute sets or 4 x 40 minute sets. We will work closely with you to ensure we perform around any scheduled speeches and formalities on the night to ensure everything runs smoothly.
