Dr Yanping Jing is a registered Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine practitioner and Chinese Medicine herbalist. She gained her qualification from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (major in Acupuncture) in 1990.
After engaging in clinical work at the Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture Treatment and Emergency section of the hospital she returned to her academic field completing a graduate diploma in Health Science at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand.During her practitioner years at the Chinese Medicine Hospital, she served as the Department Doctor and Deputy Chief Doctor.
