I was looking for a change after being with my previous stylist for many years. I was greeted by the owner (Kai) when I arrived at his shop. We discussed what would suit me best and I was impressed by his knowledge. The whole process from the consultation, shampooing, scalp massage and finally the haircut was unrushed. The final result was better than I expected! I would highly recommend Kai to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and professional barber

I was in dire need of a complete makeover. And I was not disappointed! The barber was a fine gentleman and took his time to listen to what I wanted and provided feedback.
They were not rushing, and took their time to deliver a perfect haircut and shave!
Bit more than what I usually pay for a haircut in Melbourne, but it was deffo worth it.

My first time at Mister Chop Shop. By far the best barber shop in Surry Hills. Greeted with a cold beer on arrival, I received a great beard trim and haircut from my hairdresser, Sean. He really listened to what I was after, and as a result, I was super happy with the look I now have.
