Your initial consultation includes a comprehensive health check designed to find the underlying factors causing of your health concern. I work evidence based and use a variety of tests, where required. Some of the tests I use include functional gut health testing, food intolerance, toxic exposures, hormone testing, genetic testing and general wellness check.

Naturopathy is underpinned by holistic considerations of human health - physical, mental, spiritual and environmental. The practice of naturopathy utilises a range of modalities that are congruent with these principles. What you eat is important, both in preventing disease and in the treatment of certain conditions.

Our immune system is constantly working & fighting against microorganisms such as viruses, toxins and other foreign substance. By fine-tuning certain aspects of your health routine, you can help strengthen your immune system, so that you can fight-off colds and flus or recover quickly.
The gut is not only the place where you absorb important nutrients such as vitamins, minerals & protein which are the basic building blocks needed for our health, but 80% of your immunity also resides in your gut. Gut health is very important for many diseases (see below) and this is why we want to make sure that your gut is healthy.
Your diet and the way you eat influences not just your health but also your microbiome's health. If you eat a healthy diet rich in nutrients, your microbiome (these are the trillions of microorganisms that live in your intestinal tract) will thrive and you will feel great and full of energy.

On the other hand, if your diet consists of lots of processed foods that are high in bad fats and sugar, and you eat while rushing out the door, the few nutrients found in your diet will most likely be poorly absorbed and you will feel tired and sick.Furthermore, your microbiome will flourish with bad bugs.

Just 2 weeks into a gut cleanse, so far so good. Billie explained the process clearly and was available for any questions about how I was feeling. Another 4 weeks to go and I will post again about how I feel then.
