Boats Unlimited
Established in 2004 we have been running our own very successful business for more than 12 years. Karl Richardson has been selling boats for over 20 years and with more than 3000 sea trials under his belt there are very few combinations of boat and motor, which he does not have a historical perspective on.

We are essentially a family owned and operated business, with a passion for boating and especially fishing. We have 2 kids and very much enjoy getting out on the water. We are happy to provide free technical advice. We have an excellent reputation in the market place which we are very proud of and continue to strive to keep it that way.

I purchased a 22ft Xpress CC a few months back. 3rd saltwater trip using trolling motor it sheared the pin for the prop. SS lock nutt on trolling motor was way over tightened causing the flat head portion to hold shaft to be stripped out.. after removal of nut noticed they had installed a carbon steel shear pin in my saltwater addition trolling motor... needs new shaft... inspect prior to purchase especially if you see the carbon red carbon steel washer... Spoke With owner and he took action and remedied the issue quickly....

Had a great experience with the service department here in Baton Rouge. I had an issue that I brought to their attention and it was handled immediately. Also I would like to thank Mike and Shane for doing an exceptional job to make things rite as well.

Kind of high in price and not a lot of boats but bought one. The selection was small and the parking lot is extremely small but they have fiberglass and aluminum boats. Many accessories for your boat and people were not to push about buying a boat.

Bought a new motor that took a month longer to put on then quoted... which would not have been a problem but they kept our boat the whole time. The whole staff is rude AF including the owner (which by the way us the salesman) everyone seems like they hate their job and you are putting them out when you ask questions!!! They will not get anymore of our money!!

The older lady behind the service desk is not friendly at all and acts like she hates her job. Now Boats unlimited is not selling 2 stroke yamalube because they say it is to expensive. Really.. What about the people that still have 2 strokes we still need oil. That's ok I will never buy anything from yall again.

Never called before starting work to discuss what was found and what was to be done. Replaced spark plugs that were less than a month/one use old. Charged over $100 more than quoted price. Said they were not capable of changing the charge in their computer system. One and done.

The story is too long to tell. Bottom line is that customer service is terrible. Kristin, in service, seems willing to help but is completely disorganized and makes excuses as to why maintenance is not done correctly, components of the boat are missing, why their local welder can’t do the job correctly, why the manufacturer took decals off the boat and didn’t put them back on, why the boat isn’t transferred to the customer with its windshield, why the customer has to spend hours and hours and days of his life with out his boat and driving an hour and a half to the dealership to resolve issues
