Please disregard any negative reviews you see here for JHA Australia - We have just used JHA Australia's Services and found their whole team including admin to be first class .They provided a comprehensive 27 page structural report for us to decide to wether purchase our residential home in Upper Coomera , Qld .They also did it at short notice , they arrived onsite on time and provided the report within 48 hours as our request was urgent and competitive pricing too .We highly recommend anybody to use their services . Rowan at JHA was extremely helpful with information and advice regarding an engineered and designed retaining wall. He was very knowledgeable and informative as well as prompt with his replies. Although we decided not to proceed with our project we would’ve had no hesitation in using JHA for the job and we recommend them highly.

I called up JHA to ask for advice after putting my home up for sale and the buyers building and pest highlighted a specific item on the list which was a source of confusion. Instead of charging me for their time, they asked me to send through what I had to their senior engineer (Tim) who kindly looked over the report. The report wasn't informational enough, so they asked for some photos as well.
JHA could have easily charged me for their time and I have no doubt I took a bit of it, but they didn't charge me anything for which I am grateful. They went above and beyond for me and if I ever need

I unfortunately bought a Property after employing a well known Certification company ( NOT JHA )whom sent a Cadet Building Certifier that gave me negligent advice ..
I then Employed Mr Fin Hayhurst (JHA) whom was shocked at his findings and offered me a full refund after being paid for his professional report .
This proves that JHA has good Corporate ethics and great integrity .
Later ,Fin came to my property a few times , to make sure that the Rectifications , i was doing was up to standard with the present building codes which i appreciated . Eventually i got full approval and

3 years ago I Got a pre purchase home inspection done by JHA - The most useless company! I bought the house as inspection report looked pretty good, but 2 weeks after getting into our house, we realised we had termite damage and been told it was rot wood... garage couldn't be use for weeks before being rebuilt.
Today, I am getting the roof repaired and repainted, damage on it are shocking and it is pretty old damage! So at time of Purchase and inspection roof was pretty much in the same condition.... but been told it was in good condition!
Those guys are a joke don't go with them or you will

I contacted JHA for advice on a crack that had appeared in a wall, expecting this to be an expensive experience. Instead, they went out of the way to help me without ever charging me a cent! They let me send through some pictures, took the time to look at them and provided some great advice by email, so I was able to spend the money on remedying the problem instead. I'm so grateful to these guys and would highly recommend them.
