Spinal misalignment (and abnormal spinal bio-mechanics) are very common and the effect of these left uncorrected in the body is the major cause of back pain.
The most common areas where nerve damage occurs in practice are the sciatica (back of leg), femoral nerve (front of leg) and the arm from the lower cervical nerves. Sciatica translates from Latin to mean leg pain. Medically it refers to pain in the back of the leg due to irritation of the sciatic nerve - which is derived from the L4 to S1 nerve roots - these exit from the lower lumbar spine.
The Spinal discs are the soft tissue between each vertebrae. They are made out of collagen fibers and have a centre called a nucleus - which has a gelatinous texture. The disc has two main roles: It acts as a shock absorber and gives space for the spinal nerves to exit. When the outer fibers tear the disc may distort and bulge.

He takes the time to get to know you and your situation. Explains clearly what to expect from his treatment and provides an outstanding service.
My daughter and I came to his practice due to a recent scoliosis diagnosis on my daughter. She was in so much pain, every night she went to bed she suffered back pain; this made hard for her to go to sleep.
During the day time I used to see her trying to stretch her back and complain of her discomfort and pain. She used to say “I just want to crack my back to put it in place again”

I have been going to Steve for about 3 years.
Not only did he help me with the pains I have had (and I have had loads caring for a toddler and doing adventurous things like abseiling the building), but he has also been providing me with the recommendations of exercises and overall well-being.
