Over the 40 years we have been in the industry we have heard a lot of myths and rumours around catamarans, most of them quite funny to those of us who have spent time in and around catamarans. As with a lot of things that are slightly different from mainstream, people often believe these rumours as they have no source of information directing them to the correct answers.
All Sailfish Catamarans are twin engine installations with twin ram hydraulic steering. Should you lose power in one engine you can get home safely on the other (and with many setups still get the boat on the plane). The independent steering means you still track straight and turn with ease getting you home safer.

Damian was an absolute legend to deal with. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Very funny story, but we purchased a boat as a surprise for my old man and Damian helped tee up the whole surprise including even pretend phone calls to my old man to make him think the boat was unavailable when we had already purchased it! Got my first real fishing boat, the Staby 1850 Supercab here, Gavan works very hard and Ash is very detailed in ensuring the delivery went smoothly despite challenges due to lockdown. I’ve since very much enjoyed taking my “Cyber Craft” everywhere in Sydney up to Port Macquarie and beyond. Many thanks to Webbe Marine, hope to upgrade to the 2250 WT in a couple years!

We took delivery of our beautiful new S8 Sailfish Catamaran “Pearl Fisher” on Friday. At every step of the project, the guys at Webbe Marine have been nothing but helpful and professional. They have delivered on everything we hoped for (and more) and we absolutely love our new boat. The design and finish are brilliant. The thoughtful layout, wiring, lighting, quality of equipment all excellent. Gavan at Webbe Marine was in constant contact with me during the build, with regular photos and updates, suggestions etc. On delivery day, Darren who is the hull designer from Sailfish came and briefed

A Massive thanks to Ash & the Team at Webbe Marine, from the first meeting at the Sydney Boat Show to pickup, Webbe Marine have been brilliant to deal with, we made several changes along the way which were all accommodated with ease, there was a slight delay in delivery but all worked out spot on, there were a couple of teething issues that were sorted instantly, absolutely love our Stabicraft 2100SC & have no reservation at all in recommending Ash & the guys at Webbe Marine.

Could not be happier to buy a sailfish S8. The S8 is just an art to me. Ashley from Webbe Marine was very helpful with all what I wanted. Go Sailfish !
Updated: I have had the Sailfish S8 for about 2 years now. Had a lot of fun with it. It is very stable on rough sea such as chasing barrels at Portland. Very easy to drive onto the trailer. Towing it with LandCruiser Sahara at ease. Chasing Swordfish at Lakes Entrance with very good fuel efficiency. Diving for crayfish driving Sailfish S8 is big fun too.
