Services
First and foremost I am a storyteller, connecting with people and being able to shine a light on them and their story is my passion. The magic of photography for me happens in the connection with the subject. It's my belief that a photographers style is how they see the world around them - for me that is seeking out colour, natural light, happy smiling faces, community and connection with people.
The gorgeous studio I work from is a part of a stunning property overlooking rolling hills between Torquay and Bellbrae - Ashmore Arts. Here I edit all of my images, run workshops, network and chit chat over morning tea with the other wonderful artists. The space has a small studio which is set up for natural light portraits and product shoots.
In terms of thinking about your clothing for your photography session I am happy to have a conversation to help you narrow down what to wear and bring along on the day. I loved having Donna photograph a retreat I ran recently. She has a beautiful knack of quietly being in the background without affecting the group atmosphere. She took some amazing pictures that captured the feel of the day beautifully. I found her relaxed, encouraging and great at direction. Donna photographed our wedding in November and all I can say is WOW!! From first meeting with Donna to the wedding day everything was just so easy. On the wedding day nothing was to hard and she kept us to our… time schedule, capturing the most amazing photos. When you end up with over 800 photos and you can't pick a favourite it just goes to show how awesome she is. Donna has an amazing up beat personality that just makes you feel relaxed. Have just received the photos from my Son's wedding ... and they are wonderful ... the key thing for me is the way that all the people are captured in such a natural way ... that it brings the whole event to life for me again and again ... there is a real art in capturing a "moment" ... and this was done perfectly ... thank you so much.
