What an amazing time to be working as a professional photographer! When I first started shooting large format film over 25 years ago, I could never have imagined the incredible versatility and quality that I would achieve with modern digital capture.
Subsequently with the advent of drone photography I can now capture stunning images from above, or use my high megapixel cameras with an extensive range of lenses to document the world at work from the ground, hanging out the side of a helicopter, or even while working down a mine shaft.

With a thorough understanding of angles and lighting, I am able to work with reflective surfaces to ensure the product is perfectly captured.
Although I am a Melbourne based photographer, I enjoy taking every opportunity to further explore and capture images of this amazing continent, often staying a few extra days after an assignment in order to enjoy my adopted homeland. This gallery contains a selection of aerial panoramic images which I have printed to over 40 inches plus, and which really offer an amazing view of the cities and landscape that comprise this wonderful country.
The UK will always be 'home' to me as much as Australia now is. Apart from my family it offers such an incredible array of museums, pubs, architecture and of course history. Other than Australia it is the only country that I have had the limited opportunity to fly my drone, although I know there will be many more hours of UK based aerial photography to come.
As a working professional photographer, I have always recognised the importance of pursuing personal projects; to continue to grow creatively it is essential to step outside of a client's brief and explore a subject without expectation or confinement, allowing the eye and mind to wander.
