Addiction is not being able to stop doing something even if you want to, and despite the negative consequences it creates. Addiction applies to alcohol and other drugs, and is inclusive of gambling, eating, gaming, exercise, sex, social media and other behaviours. This program is suitable for individuals who have a desire to quit but have not been able to do so on their own.
Eating disorders lead to unhealthy eating habits that may be characterised by obsession with food, body weight and body shape. Individuals with an eating disorder may display a number of symptoms and these are most commonly purging behaviours, over-exercising, restricting food intake and food binges.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive form of brain stimulation that can be used to treat depression and other psychiatric disorders. Suitable patients will typically have continued symptoms of depression despite having tried two or more antidepressant medications.

In treating depression, TMS may be used when patients have not responded to antidepressant medications, have unacceptable side effects to medications or would prefer to try another treatment option. There are a few factors that may make a patient not suitable for TMS and these include having a history of epilepsy or seizures, being pregnant, or being under 18 years of age.

I am just home after a great experience at The Geelong Clinic and would recommend to anyone. Certainly, it is not perfect, however no organisation is!
From first contact Janda and Helen were extremely helpful, understanding and empathetic. I found the nursing staff kind and caring, the food is good and maintenance staff do a fantastic job of keeping the whole centre clean and safe. Program facilitators are knowledgeable and passionate about their roles and my experience has changed the trajectory of my life. A wide variety of therapy approaches delivered by qualified staff, such as art therapy

Absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service. Have had appointments cancelled twice for reasons out of my control and rescheduled for months later. Poor communication by receptionist who failed to inform me that I needed to confirm my appointment 24 hours before hand, only to have it cancelled when I rang back 15 mins later due to being at work.
Teresa was very inconsiderate and quite rude. She showed no empathy towards my problems. Dr. Don should reconsider hiring someone more suited to the role.

Even 1 star is too much. How do I put it into words. Our young 20 yr old son whom has suffered debilitating Anxiety and Depression has been left high and dry by this clinic in particular Dr Rowena Scyaminis . He missed several appointments not only his fault but administration errors also. She refused to see or treat him, he was on a trial medication that was helping after many other medications failed. So her staff were given the lovely task of letting us (His Carers) know that he can no longer attend. He has now been without medication for a week and is suffering terribly. All the clinic cares

There is no point for me in writing a long, detailed message here....all I want to say is that I have had three seperate experiences in this facility: as a healthcare worker, a patient, and as a family member of someone receiving care.....all three experiences were disgusting.

The Geelong clinic is defrauding the commonwealth as well as private health insurance companies, with dodgy course's. Also there are certain individuals that bully patients, most of the staff are ok. However, some of senior staff are arbitrary and basically bully you if stand for yourself. They are only driven by profit. They lie about patients, as they did to me and others as well. I would highly recommend that you avoid this shoddy organisation. Especially a particular midget that works for allied health out the back. They need to be forensically audited, as ripping off people and health organisations

Called Dr Monique Mason at the clinic in a severe mental state and all i can say is I'm shocked of my treatment by receptionist Kelly.
I was not copping and in a hysterical time when she stated she couldnt hear me and hung up on me. I called back and no answer. Had to leave a message begging for help.
Went to my GP. He called asking to speak to the Dr regarding my state. Kelly was rude and was even telling my GP what i needed. I think my gp who looks after me would know what i would need more than a receptionist who does not know me or is a qualified Dr.
My GP is now finding me somewhere else
