We have a team of credentialed psychiatrists with broad experience across mental health. Our intake team will ensure that patients are admitted in a timely manner with one of our team. Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital welcomes applications for credentialing by psychiatrists to our facility. Our Medical Advisory Committee meets regularly to discuss these applications.
Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital, based in Werribee, Melbourne, provides a broad range of In-patient Mental Health Services and Day Programs. We strive to provide an environment where patients and their families feel safe, supported and comfortable. We now offer a 7-10 Day Detox In-patient program in addition to our current 28-day Addiction Recovery In-patient Program.
Our treatment programs also include groups lead by our Consumer Consultant and Carer Consultant offering families foundations and understanding into your treatment plan. Dedicated Pharmacists and exercise physiologists also work as key members of the patient care team, providing individual based care to patients, we are able to ensure a holistic approach to meeting patient's needs.
Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital is pleased to offer an in-patient Drug and Alcohol Detox and Rehabilitation Treatment Service. Our programs are led and delivered by experienced consultant psychiatrist Dr Rajinarayan Mahasuar. Our multidisciplinary team focus on intensive assessment and treatment through a variety of evidence based interventions whilst providing individualised, holistic care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
The Wellbeing Program offers treatment to people with a variety of mental health diagnoses, at different stages of their recovery. It is suitable as an early intervention strategy, a transition from inpatient care back to the community, or to maintain well being, by helping clients build skills to aid their mental health in a socially supportive environment.

My daughter was discharged from this facility two weeks early as they stated she abused them verbally and they don't go to work to be spoken to like this. As a trained registered nurse my understanding is that when you acutely mentally unwell you are not in your right mind. In my mental health training we were taught to physically restrain patients, that shows that you can expect abnormal behaviours in mental health.

This was once a fantastic private clinic. Unfortunately, higher management/directors are only focussed on 'Cost Cutting' and producing huge profits for shareholders.
I was told after discharge via telephone, that I was suppsedly informed (during the intake process) to provide my own mask to prevent Covid19. This was incorrect.
If you want to massively increase your risk of catching Covid, plan an inpatient stay at Wyndham private clinic.
No hand sanitiser is avaliable to patients.
The reason given, was that patients would drink the Hand Sanitiser (I was not in the Alcohol & Other Drugs rehabilitation

I arrived fifteen minutes early for my appointment and the psychiatrist was twenty minutes late in the end. But, even with the waiting, Dr Raj Mahasur was understanding, patient, and helped me with exactly what I needed without any messing around.
I didn't have a major problem with this clinic. They're good people.

I come into Wyndham clinic for treatment once a month. The nurses are lovely, but management, driven by greed are running the hospital into the ground! I have been coming here for about three years now. I come in specifically for my TMS treatment, which is prescribed for three times a day. This admission I was told (several days after being admitted) that they “no longer admit patients specifically for TMS (as well as ECT). So I went several days without treatment because they refuse to pay overtime for a nurse to stay long enough to do everyone’s treatment. This has created a waiting list

Unfortunately I would not recommend this adolescences mental health facility to ANY PARENT think of sending their child there for clinical help. I feel I have let my child and myself down after placing in this facility. IT IS NOT SAFE!!! I am just so happy my baby is out and getting the care they deserve!!!!
