The Laundry Lady was started for busy professionals and working families to help you get your time back to yourself. We understand the last thing you want to spend your nights and weekends doing is ironing and washing clothes. All of our Laundry Ladies and Lads are insured. Your local Laundry Lady or Lad will pick up your laundry from your home or workplace, take it home to wash, dry, fold or iron it and deliver it back to you folded or pressed.
We currently service many regions including Cairns, Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Cairns, Mackay, Townsville, Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo, Sydney, Byron Bay, Ballina and Lennox Head. We are adding more locations all the time, so like us on Facebook to stay up to date with new areas!
After collection, we will email you an online link to pay your account with credit or debit card. MasterCard, Visa and AMEX accepted. One load is approximately 5kgs (weighed when dry) or a standard size laundry basket. This will vary depending on the volume of the item - for example a king size doona might be thick and bulky but still lightweight, we count based on what will fit inside a 5kg machine drum.

Pickup and Delivery: Flexible, convenient delivery and collection of your laundry, normally next-day. Washing, Drying, Folding, Ironing: We will make sure your clothes are given a proper, professional wash and returned to you in pristine condition. Linen, Towels and Sheets: We can wash all kinds of sheets, towels and similar, for business or home customers.

I absolutely love this service!!! 😍 It takes the pressure off big time as getting through all the washing a family of five creates. My family spend a lot of time in the water either at the beach or in the pool, so I always have a mountain of towels to get through. With The Laundry Lady making sure everyone get fresh sheets every week is a breeze!!

DO NOT use Leah from the Gold Coast service - her husband drives your clothes back and smokes all over them. I had to rewash everything and no one has contacted me to refund including Leah who was meant to look after my clothes. Absolutely disgusting, my children clothes stunk of smoke... I have been happy with others, but DO NOT USE LEAH

I am extremely happy with the services provided by Michelle at The Laundry Lady.
Embarrassingly, I had let my laundry build up to an insurmountable level and I didn't have the time or the headspace to tackle it.
In the middle of the night I had to navigate my way over my "floordrobe" and realised I needed some help getting back on top of things.
I booked in for a laundry service and Michelle was available to come and pick up my laundry the very next morning.
Michelle was prompt, professional and personable, with a genuinely friendly smile and a great down to earth personality.
I was very impressed

I did not have a good experience, I placed my booking and hit the submit button, I got no response so submitted again. As there was still no confirmation email I assumed they would arrive at booked time. No one arrived to pick up my ironing so when I contacted them they said they had no booking. Very disappointed.

Due to house renovations we hadn't been able to hang our bedding on the clothesline to dry for months so had a large backlog of sheets, a doona, doona covers and pillow cases stockpiled. I was SO happy to discover The Laundry Lady. I was able to book online for pick up and Marina was on time, friendly and professional. Our bedding was returned to us the following day beautifully washed, dried and folded. I couldn't be happier with the service we received and the price was also very reasonable. Thank you The Laundry Lady!!!

Charged an excessive amount for wash and fold services. I’m a busy mum and business owner needing help catching up on washing, and at that point was happy to keep paying their exorbitant prices. Please be aware the quote from their website is usually lower than the final price. Being that they told me one king Donna cover was the equivalent of one load being a 5kg wash. Even though I know this was BS, I continued to use the service just so I could catch up. Then I noticed twice that my whites were coming back marked. They did not leave that way. The kind of marks from using too much fabric softener

After a puppy toilet accident on my bed, I was so relieved to find this service! I was able to book online and get a same day pickup service in the morning, and negotiated to get my blankets delivered back 48 hours later. Unbelievable! The bed linen was beautifully clean, fresh, and felt lovely. I highly recommend this service and think it is excellent value, given it provides high quality care, is incredibly responsive when things are time sensitive, and includes a pickup and delivery service.
