After years of hearing patients' complaints about poor sleep and their retail experience, Dr. Skandalellis decided to learn about the world of mattresses and pillows. His vision was to create a destination where everyday people had access to accurate information, advice and could trust the quality of the products and knowledge provided.
We are conveniently situated at 313 - 315 Whitehorse Road, Balwyn VIC 3103, located on the city side of Balwyn Road, opposite Balwyn Football Club & Cherry Road. Our showroom is easily accessible via public transport with the 109 tram line right outside our front door. If your choice of transport is via car, there is plenty of free parking on both Whitehorse Road (1-hour) & Cherry Road (2-hour).

The person I spoke to on the phone was nice. However, claimed they could not help me as could not find my details in the system and instead arranged for someone to call me back. A person called George rang me, was extremely guarded, and contradicted himself as one minute he claimed styles had changed, then next minute claimed still had same style (as that quoted some time ago) but prices had changed. Getting information out of him (re current stock they had) was like pulling teeth! He was a terrible salesperson as he lacked ability to build rapport, find out what one is looking for, and advise

I would throughly recommend booking an assessment appointment. I was lucky enough to have mine with Natalie, who’s care and attention was very much appreciated. She went above and beyond my expectations and I’m grateful for her professionalism and the attention that she awarded me in making sure that I ended up with the correct mattress for my body.

Prompt service and communication with Dr Maria H, the first visit made one month ago, Maria spent more than one hour with us to choose the right bed, mattress and seat etc for Dad, 84yrs. The set order is placed today, dad is so excited and has made his room ready for the delivery already! Lol, even it will be 4 weeks+ away

We spent 2.5hrs with Natalie who not only had the medical knowledge of my health conditions to find the best solution for my needs but also showed she cared. It was a great experience spending time at Back to Sleep. Our consultant Natalie was fantastic! She spent time gathering information from my partner and I, having us try out different mattresses and pillows. She was excellent at understanding our needs and supported us to find a resolution to choose the right mattress. Nothing was too much effort. It was an excellent experience. Our new Hi/Low beds (& new sheets) have arrived & theyre amazing. My husband Troy has the high pressure care mattress on the right. Love the head/feet boards as well. What great service, quality and above all prompt delivery and great support. These guys know their stuff. They listen to what their customers are saying and tailor a package to suit need, budget and time frame.… Daughter LOVES her new mattress. Oh and that base with the draws, what a space saver. The bedroom has never been so clean. Teenagers love to mess up a room. Well not anymore. Daughter says this is the best sleep she has ever had. Wakes up every morning completely refreshed and ready to tackle a big year 12 day. Thanks Dr George and Phil for the great service and quality product.
